Food Safety - Level 1
£17.50 + VAT
This course is intended to equip the student with a basic appreciation of food hygiene and safety within the catering industry. It is intended for Part-Time staff who must be supervised by someone with Level-II or higher whilst carrying out food preparation/cooking.
Food Safety - Level 2
£25.00 + VAT
By the end of the course students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of food poisoning, cleaning, refuse, pest control, health & safety, safe food handlers, safe food handling, legislation, the law, HACCP – food safety risk assessment, COSHH - risk assessment
Food Safety - Level 3
£125.00 + VAT
By the end of the course students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of supervisory management, food safety, microbiology, hazards, pest control, temperature control, cleaning, contamination control, applying & monitoring good food safety measures, quality control, contributing to the food safety training of others, legislation.
Health & Safety In Catering
£100.00 + VAT
By the end of the course students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of why health and safety training should be done, safe use of equipment, cuts and burns, fryers, ventilation, vehicles and licensing, chemicals, slips, trips and falls, maintenance, manual handling, safety signs, reporting accidents, gas & electrical safety, first aid, noise, working at height, managing health & safety.
Essential First Aid Training
£25.00 + VAT
By the end of the course students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of roles and responsibilities of the first aider, first aid kits, primary survey, secondary survey, recovery position, choking, shock, burns, bleeding, seizures, heart attacks, asthma, strains and sprains.
HACCP
£50.00 + VAT
By the end of the course students will be able to demonstrate knowledge of HACCP terms, food safety management, the benefits & limitations of HACCP, legal requirements for HACCP, training requirements, how to conduct a HACCP study, sssembling the HACCP Team, constructing a process flow diagram, how to conduct a hazard analysis, determining the Critical Control Points, how to establish critical limits, establishing monitoring procedures, corrective action and record keeping.
